We are sad with those of you that had your hearts set on going to IF:Austin this year. After recovering from the server crash, IF:Austin’s 1800 tickets sold out in 15 minutes and understandably for some of you today was filled with frustration and disappointment.
In spite of the potential disappointment of today, we find ourselves wondering… what does this make possible?
The reasons we do not rent bigger venues is our dream for IF has always been YOU in your places reaching your people. We hope you will consider gathering and leading women by hosting an IF:Local.
Several of our leaders are gathering tonight in Austin and wanted to share their hearts and vision with you:
Bottom line- we believe in you and in the coming months our biggest goal will be for you, as local leaders, to feel our support as you step into the unknowns and risks of leadership.
Are you willing to take initiative in your place? The only prerequisite to becoming a local leader: are you committed to a local church?
After that we will help all along the way… and just wait till you meet the incredible team of other leaders you are joining.
Here are the next steps for you to take:
- Search to see if there is an existing IF:Local in your area that you want to plug into.
- Find an IF:Local leader in your area on the map, connect with her via email & sign up to be one.
- Register to host an IF:Local.
