The IF:Equip Community
One of our favorite things that has come out of IF:Equip is the beautiful community of women from all over the world that has developed in the comments section. These women share their reflections on scripture and how it impacts their views of God, ourselves, and the world. They encourage one another in the races that are set before them. They pray for one another. The Holy Spirit moves through them.
Today, we wanted to take a moment to spotlight them because they are important to us and to one another. In return, they want you to know a little bit about what IF:Equip has meant to them. Enjoy!

Here is a bible study that comes to my house, no charge, when it fits my schedule, including dynamic speakers and authors whom I respect and love, wrapped in an instant community of like-minded believers who gather to lift up and learn together. There is nothing else like this out there. I crave it daily! IF:Equip gives me what I need to tackle my daily routine with perspective and unleash love on my people.

IF:Equip’s daily video just makes the word come alive for me. I don’t have a local study group, so to see two women discussing scripture and giving me insights was amazing, I felt like I was just in there with them. If someone wants to see the word come alive and build a habit of meditating and reading the word everyday, IF:Equip is perfect for you.

As a new believer, If:Equip has allowed me to gain so much insight into the Bible, Jesus, and God. I was so nervous to join at first, because I knew nothing about these things. But each week, thru the verses and comments, I learned so much from the other ladies. I also received so much encouragement and have made 2 new “pen pals”, we email each other regularly. If:Equip has given me even more drive to want to learn more. I’m participating more in church, going to bible studies and meeting with the women’s ministry at my church.

I enjoy the studies online and since my ministry is mentoring younger woman in the body of Christ I find their comments enlightening as to where the culture is in their study of God’s word and while I truly believe that skin on skin relationship is the core of The Gospel I believe your mass dynamic serves a great purpose as well. I am very impressed and encouraged by the younger women leaders today! I do keep the length of my comments shorter because this study is not meant to be a theology class but an encouragement! I know that is happening!

At first glance, IF: Equip is a daily email/post providing Bible study guidance including sections of straight Spirit-filled Scripture supplemented by the unique insights of amazing women of faith. While that, in itself, is a blessing, IF: Equip is more that. It is a community of women from around the globe focusing their study and their prayers on the same Scripture, listening intently for the voice of the Holy Spirit to speak to them and through others online, and preparing their hearts and minds for God’s work. It is a place for women to cautiously take their first steps into the joy of Bible study and to quietly seek what God wants to share with them and what He wants of them. It is a place where women who feel the Spirit moving can share the revelations of Scripture and invite others to join in their celebration of the love of Jesus Christ. It is a place that gives us an earthly glimpse of what it might be like to be surrounded by a great cloud of heavenly witnesses – praising, worshipping, learning, and sharing in the work for the Lord.
