On Tuesday, there will be a huge rush of traffic to the website, so now is a great time to add your IF:Local to the map.We know a lot of you are still trying to figure out the who, when, where and why for your event. Today, we want to reassure you that you can go ahead and mark your spot on the map — even if you don’t have the details figured out. Here’s all you need to know to get your event on the map:
- your IF Local’s name
- your city, your state and you tentative zip code
- how much you will give to our vision to gather, equip, and unleash women to their calling. It’s what we ask in lieu of charging for the livestream.
Because the first step to register is creating an account, you can do so now and then login later as more detail about your gathering comes together. That way, your place is saved, others can join in and the vision of your event can start to take shape.
Before you register, we want to share with you some of the changes we made to make registering through IF:Gathering the best possible experience.
What’s new…
This year, with a little bit of fear and trembling, we are allowing large IF:Locals (anticipating 51+ attendees) the option to apply to charge a Host Fee from each attendee to cover the essential event costs. We did this because many IF:Locals had a difficult time last year having a two step registration process or circumvented IF:Gathering’s system entirely. Our hope is that this update addresses those issues so we can all be on the same page.
Before you dive into the details of how it works, we wanted to take this opportunity to encourage you and challenge you to not have a host fee. As you guys know, the heart of IF:Gathering is to gather, equip and unleash ALL women and we hope that finances are never a barrier — both for women in Austin and for women hoping to attend your IF:Locals. We know that it is challenging to figure out how to make that happen, but we believe you will see, as we have been fortunate to see, God provides in the most incredible ways. Our hope is that we would trust in a God who is able to provide and that we would celebrate that provision as He moves.

Your gathering attendees will give what they can to IF:Gathering and then pay the Host Fee on top of that. The benefit is that the donation AND fee payment happen in one seamless transaction. See how it works.
