We believe that together, by unleashing our God-given gifts, we can be tools God uses to bring about His restoration.

Several years ago when I was working in Christian publishing I found myself, for the first time in my adult life, attending a lot of live events. Like A LOT of live events.

You name it…I attended it. A blogging conference. A leadership conference. A creative conference. A communication conference. An idea conference. Even a few women’s conferences.

We believe that together, by unleashing our God-givern gifts, we can be tools God uses to bring about His restoration.

I learned. I listened. I laughed. I cried. I found deeper intimacy with a mysterious God. I consumed massive amounts of rich and challenging content. I met hundreds of like-minded friends. I even racked up a whole heck of a lot of airline miles.

But I never found a place – or a tribe — quite like the one we are hoping to build here.

Tribe

Focused on the unique challenges and truths of being a woman in a complicated day in age. {It’s a tricky world we live in, ladies. Can I get an “Amen”?}

Where it’s okay when life seems messy and God seems mysterious. {Where pain is acknowledged and not glossed over. Where God is bigger than I can fathom.}

Where God uses others to confront and redeem our desire to give up. {Where community is so much more than a group of convenient relationships. Thank you Pete Wilson for giving words to my desires.}

But most importantly, where my quavering voice is not simply tolerated.  It is welcomed.  Celebrated.  Affirmed.

Even though… I am not a Bible teacher. I don’t have all the answers {Heck, I might not have any of the answers.} I have been known to enjoy my chicken fajitas with margaritas and my toe stubs with expletives.

But because… I sure do love Jesus. And I want to learn how to love people better. To embody the good news for a world that is suffering. To live in grace and to flow in the Spirit. To do justice, love mercy and to walk humbly with God.

Come. Join me. Bring your voice, your wounds, your dreams. Let’s unleash our gifts and bring hope and healing to world in desperation.
