One-Time Challenge. Lifetime Impact.

At IF:Gathering, we partner with non-profit organizations to take aim at one need or cause where we can have a massive impact. We have one great opportunity this summer to share with you.

In Rwanda, Africa New Life Ministries transforms the lives of young women by giving them a college education. Higher education ends the cycle of poverty, and it gives hope for future generations in this poverty stricken country.

The impact a scholarship makes in a student’s life through Africa New Life extends beyond the classroom. The women live together in a house called the Esther Home where they volunteer their time to improve the community where they live, receive leadership training, and learn basic finance management. Additionally, the Esther Home offers a beautiful community in which the women participate in weekly devotions and share house tasks.

So here’s our challenge…

This school year 14 women were a part of this life-changing opportunity. Our hope is to provide 2 scholarships so that 2 more young women are given an education, a new outlook for their future, and a new voice in their communities.

In order to admit these girls to live in the Esther Home and to attend college this year, we must fund the scholarships by July 1.

Goal: $48,000
Deadline: July 1

What does this pay for?
Everything for 4-years! Tuition, room & board in the Esther Home, books & other school supplies and a monthly stipend for expenses.

What does it cost?
To attend college, it costs:

$30 for one day
$600 for one month
$3000 for one semester
