For each Friday of this study, we will reflect on the major truths discussed throughout the week. We invite you to dig deeper. Be willing to wrestle with the truths that are difficult to grasp. Ask God to give you the faith to believe. Worship God for opening your eyes to believe these truths. The more we press into God and His truths, the richer our relationship with Him becomes.

See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Beloved, we are God's children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is.

Reflection on God’s Existence
If God exists, how does this truth impact our lives? Should we live differently? Should we treat others differently? If God exists, it changes everything! If He exists, we have purpose. If He exists, we get to be a part of a story bigger than our own. If He exists, this life is not the end. Do you see? If God exists, we have salvation, freedom, and redemption in Christ. Believing that God exists today, how will you view your world?
Reflection on the Triune God
The teaching of the Trinity is one of great mysteries. It is difficult to understand, since nothing else in our world is similar. But we must believe this truth because it is foundational to our faith. Again, the Trinity can be defined as one God eternally existing as three distinct persons (Father, Son, and Holy Spirit), and each person is fully God. Why is it important that we believe this truth? Because we must worship God for who He is. The belief of the Trinity defines God’s character and nature. How will the truth of the Trinity impact your worship of God?
Reflection on the Father
God is our Father. What an amazing and personal truth! We can come to Him as a child comes to his or her father. We can approach Him with confidence. As we come to Him, He will envelop us with love and care. 1 John 3:1–2 says,
See what kind of love the Father has given to us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him. Beloved, we are God’s children now, and what we will be has not yet appeared; but we know that when he appears we shall be like him, because we shall see him as he is. Your heavenly Father has lavished you with a love. This love brings you into His family as an heir; and one day you will be like Him. This is the greatest type of fatherly love.

They all have an impact in someways but I believe in ONE GOD!!! If I think back to when I wasn’t saved I had no clue about God. Sure I went to church every Wednesday with school, made all the sacraments went to church on Sunday and even to confession. Why??? Was it out of legalism or because it’s what your supposed to do. Growing up Catholic I had to do all these things but why no one ever really said except if you don’t do all these things your going to hell. As time went on I fell away and many many years had past. I finally came to a place in my life and found Him God Almighty who sent his son Jesus to die for me in my place and all sinners, yes we are all sinners but He wants me to be part if his family and when I accepted him I became his adopted daughter. Then he opened up my eyes and I started to see thing made sense and I still see more each day. Why would someone give their life for me? That’s a mystery to me but listening to people talk about God which is used so ever loosely these day I could see there was no one like Him! All the different gods you hear about haven’t done anything that is out of love and love alone. Wants the best for us and most importantly loves us for who we are flaws fears failures all of it. What other god is like that NONE!!! Even though I can’t fully understand I can trust stand on his word and believe in his promises. God’s timing is perfect ours not so much most if the time. Who other than the Great Almighty Awesome and Sovereign God will still love us forgive us when we fall and call upon him asking for his forgiveness. That is the most mysterious part but I know that no matter what I have nothing to lose and everything to gain!
I may have gone off the beaten path for this question and the 1st few questions but I struggle with my answers but there are no wrong answers. I am looking to him to do a mighty miracle in me and through me. I don’t know what it is yet but praying strength will rise as I wait upon the Lord with his help!
