Will God change His mind about me?

For you did not receive the spirit of slavery to fall back into fear, but you have received the Spirit of adoption as sons, by whom we cry, “Abba! Father!”

Romans 8:15
Will God change His mind about me? Book Cover

We’re finally convinced of the truth of God loves us. But another thought plagues our mind. Will he ever change his mind about us? Will he stop loving us?

In this case, what is true of us now is also true of us in the future. When we accept Christ, we have a glorious present and future to look forward to. We are now the children of God and co-heirs with Christ. That’s quite a statement—co-heirs with Christ. What a great inheritance we now have because we’ve proclaimed Jesus as our Lord.

Not only is Jesus our Lord, but we now have an intimate relationship with God, as his children. And we will continue to enjoy that relationship for the duration of our time here on earth into eternity.

God's Everlasting Love

God loved us so much that he sent his Son to die for us. There is nothing that can deny us this promise of God’s love. In Romans 8, Paul insists there isn’t anyone or anything that can come between us and God’s love for us. None of the things we experience in life can separate us. Look at the list of things that Paul says cannot separate us: tribulation, distress, persecution, famine, nakedness, danger, or sword. What could these things look like for us? Sickness, death, anxiety, poverty, and the list goes on. Through Christ we are conquerors (Romans 8:35–39).

When we read passages like Romans 8, we are assured and reinforced with confidence that we are forever loved by God.

I am very convinced that God’s love for me is true and can never be lost regardless of what I do. My response to him should be that I WILL always follow him!! It’s the greatest love story in history !!

I am very convinced that God has loved me, loves me now, and always will. God loved me before I accepted His invitation of salvation, He loves me through and inspite of every bad choice I make, and will love me to the end of my life.
The only response I have to this passage is humble acceptance of His love. A love I am incapable of truly understanding or reciporcating.

I never, ever doubt God’s love for me. Through Christ we are conquerors. God’s promise of love is forever no matter what.

I am so sure of God’s love for me. What’s even more is I am sure of God’s love for everyone. I know that my walk with God is confirmed as the only way. I know and feel the God-given-love that I can share through the Holy Spirit. Even when I mess up, God loves me and Jesus Christ holds my hand to lead me to a better path with the strength of the Holy Spirit. Keep focused on God.

I am convinced that God loves me…even me! Gratitude and joy well up inside me when I think of that incredible gift. I want to serve God by loving His children. On my own I fail repeatedly to do that. With God’s grace I keep trying.

God loves me so much He gave His son. I’m on a journey to believe in His great love no matter what situation is presented to me (or caused by my own sin). I want to turn toward Jesus daily.

God loves me unconditionally. I think about how much I love my own child unconditionally. But God’s love for us infinitely surpasses that love. That’s hard to humanly understand. How could God love me so much? How could God stand with me, beside me, before me and all around me when I continue to sin? The promise given in Romans 8 gives me a security that I need in these uncertain times. Life is hard and I couldn’t imagine not having the unconditional love of God to lead me through all of the trails of life. Thank you God!

He loves me in all things. His love endures forever, If we confess our sins and proclaim Him as our Lord and Savior He will be with us always and Love us through anything. We cannot loose sight of Him. Nothing we do is new news to Him, He as predestined our Life before it even happens. No matter where I have been or where I am going He will always be my Father. The one who gave me life and whom I love. He calls me His own.

I know that no matter where I am and where aI have been, God has shown me his love for me in so many ways. He had proven that so many times by witnesses, messages, occurrences in my life when I doubted or felt my lowest; I always have been shown in some way He is there loving me, so I am not separated from Him.
