All this week we have been talking about the good news of God’s grace—because of God’s great love for us, Christ died for us while we were in our sin. Now let’s take some time to honestly think about this great news—the greatest news we have ever heard. Here are some questions to ponder:
- Is this week’s topic new to you? How do you feel about it?
- In your own words, why did Jesus die for you?
- How do you feel about God right now?
- How do you think God feels about you right now?
Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name. Your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread, and forgive us our debts, as we also forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Matthew 6:9-13
Thank you for this week’s scripture, lessons, words, and guidance. They are wonderful reminders of who I am in Christ, of that, although broken, God does love me, I am saved and thankful, and I have something, a future to look towards to
Thank you Jesus for loving me… for extending Grace and Mercy… forgiveness. Thank you for making a way for me to live forever and be reunited and made WHOLE Again… one day… no pain, no sin, worshipping you!
John 3:17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.
I believe God died for my sins but I really never felt like I had a personal relationship with him. I felt like He was someone I knew & read about but this last month He has become personal to me. My companion. I’m not worthy of His forgiveness or the eternal life that he promises to those who believe but I know that He died for me & my sins. That is the greatest news I’ve ever heard and now choose to believe.
God loves us and we have to live GRACE and KINDNESS
Felling so much hope and love! John 3:16 is a powerful, awesome message.
God loves us (me) so much that He sent His son to die for us (me). He knows that we sin but loves use so much! I’m grateful for the strength and wisdom I receive from my Lord everyday especially in the difficult times.
The amazing grace of God isn’t a new concept to me – but it never gets “old”! Praising God for the hope we have because Jesus felt we were worth his suffering and death. Amen!
