Double Your Generosity: Turn 25,000 into 50,000

It is so crazy that we’re less than 60 days away from opening the doors of Austin Music Hall, turning on the cameras, and coming together all across the country ready to wrestle with the essential question: IF God is real… THEN what?
In September, we announced a “give-what-you-can” ticket registration and that we are bringing IF:Gathering to local communities, a bigger, more expensive vision. The good news is that He provides generously, and today we have an opportunity to turn a $25,000 donation into $50,000 with your help. [Keep reading]
In order to turn the lights on this February, we need to raise a total $400,000. Yes, we know $400,000 is a lot of money, but it is amazing how quickly these things add up: facilities, lights, cameras, production, seating, programs, webcast, and much more. Sponsors are providing all non-essentials—coffee, sitting areas, snacks, and more. That means that all donations pay the bills for only the essential things we need to host a gathering.
The good news: We are only $100,000 away from being able to fully fund our February gathering.
What you all have accomplished and God has provided thus far is unbelievable:
- $200,000 in financial contributions
- More than 400 volunteers
- 4 stellar unpaid interns
- On our way to reaching $100,000 of our goal in sponsorships
Today, we have an exciting opportunity to share with you that will kick-start us to this goal. A donor has generously offered to give $25,000 to support our vision, and we need your help to match their gift.
So, here’s the challenge… Turn $25,000 into $50,000.
- Help us raise $25,000 by the end of the year. Everything counts: an IF:Local registration, a one-time donation, or a monthly donation all goes towards this $25,000 fundraising goal.
- Every dollar given up to $25,000 will be doubled by the matching grant.

We are asking you to step out in faith- into the wilderness- help fund our vision. This is more than a gathering… this is the beginning of something. Something a little mysterious but that hints at revival, it hints of unity, and God moving in our mist. These are the huge prayers we pray.
