Celebrate

Celebrate Book Cover

In our final day of this study, let’s recap what we’ve learned together:

  • Change is possible, because the Holy Spirit works in us to transform the way we live.
  • Spending time with Jesus changes you, because the more you know him and listen to him, the more you live like him.
  • Confession breaks open the shame we live in and allows the Holy Spirit to set you free from it.
  • The local church and the community you surround yourself with helps you keep fear at bay. We need each other as we grow in Christ together.
  • Spiritual disciplines help you connect with Jesus and establish healthy rhythms.
  • Perseverance is a necessity.

Today we celebrate! As we wrap up this study, let’s take some time to thank God for the work he’s done in your life and reflect on how you’ve grown.

Answer these questions below with gratitude:

What has God taught you recently?

How have you developed new rhythms in spending time with him?

What are you thanking God for in this season?

Closing Prayer

God, thank you for being my rock and redeemer. I know you are working and moving even when I don’t see it. Thank you for sending your Holy Spirit to lead me. I am so grateful.

I am so grateful for my salvation, my relationship with God, my family and friends, and every good gift, I know it comes from above. Thank you, Jennie, and the IF friends for this bible study. I learned a lot and it was a blessing.

I have learned so much by spending time reading my Bible and praying. God has taught me I can really know Him and know He hears my prayers. I’ve gotten a daily prayer n reading time as part of my routine! That’s a win right there! I’m so grateful for my family and my church, and I’m so grateful Jennie was obedient when God called her to “disciple a generation!” Thank you, Jennie and everyone at the IF team!

1. God has been teaching me that it’s OK to have a plan, but I need to be flexible and willing to change the plan. I’m not in control; He is in control.

2. Since this study is ending today, I now have three studies going. I spread them throughout the day. I do one in the morning, one during my lunch break, and then one later in the day when I need a break. I had been lumping them all together in the morning. Spreading them throughout the day is nice.

3. I’m thankful that God never gives up on me and that change is possible.

I am currently learning a lesson in forgiveness and loving those you may not want to. I recently failed to get a high position I wanted. To make it worse, the person everyone though least deserving did get it. I will be working under this person, and am learning to put aside my own feelings to share God’s love and forgiveness regardless.
